Annotated Bibliography For A Research Topic

Description

The Annotated Bibliography
The purpose of this assignment is to demonstrate progress in compiling research and to indicate a methodology for organizing your research sources.
Include the following in your annotated bibliography:
APA citations and annotations for four (4) sources you deem relevant to answering your research question and addressing your thesis; however, you are only required to reference three (3) scholarly sources in your final research paper.
For each source:

List the source in proper APA format. The references should be organized in alphabetical order by author as on an APA bibliography page.

Follow the source with a brief annotation that summarizes the source information (approximately 3–5 sentences). You may quote briefly from the source,
but do not copy and paste from the abstract. Include internal citations as needed.
In 1 or 2 sentences, explain and evaluate the source’s relevance and significance to your thesis. Does the information from this source support
or discredit your thesis?1

Topic: How does the use of technology-based learning tools in the classroom affect student
performance?
Thesis statement
The use of technology-based learning tools in the classroom can positively affect student
performance by providing students with more engaging and interactive learning experiences and
enabling teachers to customize lessons and assessments to better meet the needs of individual
students.
Research Questions
1. What benefits are associated with the use of technology-based learning tools in the
classroom?
2. How do students respond to the use of technology-based learning tools in the classroom?
Topic Justification
Technology-based learning tools in the classroom have become increasingly popular in
recent years. Technology-based learning tools such as interactive whiteboards, digital textbooks,
and online courses can revolutionize students’ learning (Wardoyo et al., 2021). However, there is
limited research on how using these tools affects student performance. This research proposal
seeks to explore this area by examining the impact of technology-based learning tools on student
performance in the classroom. This research proposal aims to assess the impact of technologybased learning tools on student performance in the classroom, identify factors that contribute to
the successful use of technology-based learning tools, and determine the most effective strategies
for integrating technology-based learning tools into the classroom.
3
I am interested in this topic because I believe that technology-based learning tools can
significantly impact student performance. Technology-based learning tools have the potential to
make learning more engaging and interactive, and this could lead to improved student
performance. Furthermore, technology-based learning tools can also allow for more personalized
instruction, which could also lead to improved student performance (Ghavifekr et al., 2016).
Finally, technology-based learning tools can provide teachers with access to real-time data,
which could be used to inform instruction and improve student performance. Therefore, I believe
that studying the impact of technology-based learning tools on student performance has the
potential to yield valuable insights that could be used to improve student learning. However,
although these impacts seem evident, there is need to explore them into detail to help determine
whether technology-based learning can positively impact student learning outcome in the
classroom environment.
