The assignment this week is to locate a local community assessment report about a topic in your community. Community assessment reports are public record and should be easy to find by searching online.
To begin, google your community name, then add “community health assessment” or add “law enforcement assessment” etc. You should find several options from this search. They are usually PDF reports that are linked to a public page. Most community assessment reports are between 50-100 pages. The report will contain a detailed summary of the assessment process, findings and recommendations. Your field agency might have participated in one before, so you can check with your supervisor if you want to.
