Description

IT163-3: Create forms to input data.
Purpose
In the business world, the people who enter data for insertion into a database are not typically technical people. Therefore, the use of well-designed, easy to use forms ensures that the data is entered correctly. You will focus on the design and layout of a form.
Assignment Instructions
You will create a split form for the Products table (tblProducts) from the provided sample database.
Open the sample database.
For this assignment you will use this sample database:
IT163_ModelCarSampleDatabase.accdb
Select tblProducts from the list of table objects in the navigation pane.
Create a split form for the Products table. A split form shows two views of the same table (one for single record data entry and the other is the datasheet view of the records currently in the table).

Hint: Select the Create tab on the ribbon and click the More Forms command in the Forms group and choose Split Form.
